Weave featured in quality-of-life panel at Austin4America conference

Evan, Connor, and Tom during the panel on "Stretching Beyond the Physical: Intersection of Tech and Quality of Life" at the Austin4America conference.

At Weave, we have a few beliefs, two of which are:

• Technology should help people do more than they could otherwise
• "Futuristic" technology that does this can be built soon, with the right focus

These beliefs and more came up during a conversation about technology and quality of life between our co-founder Evan Wineland, Connor Glass (founder & CEO of Phantom Neuro, a neurotechnology company making muscle-machine interfaces), and Tom Babb (director of marketing and community at Skyfi, a satellite imagery and analytics company).

The topics spanned Weave's founding, how we've been building since raising our seed round, whether robotics will have a ChatGPT moment (and what it will be like), how Weave is distilling general-purpose robotics down to its essence, possible integrations with brain-computer interface (BCI), how to build products that are easily understood, where we got the name Isaac for our first robot, and more!
